Imagine a perfect world.

We would all know what to do, at what particular time to start doing it, where exactly it will be done and how to go about it.

But we live in a world where “perfect” is just an illusion, a wish. Or to put a little positivity in it, something we should work at until Jesus comes.

So we make mistakes, we stumble, we fall. We become confused, we get discouraged, and we break down.

We respond to setbacks differently, depending on our personality. Some keep quiet, others become even louder. But the writer of Ecclesiastes implies that there’s nothing wrong in either of the two. There is a time for everything. See Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 and read the beauty of diversity.

A slight segue, I really think it’d be a very boring world if we all react the same exact way. Variety makes life interesting.

Anyway, back to what I was saying, what’s your status in your walk with God now?

I’ve been silently fighting on my own for something for some time now. I cry most days because I can’t see the answer. I think it’s about time I lay it down upon God’s lap and see how he’ll do it.

I am reminded this morning that his ways and thoughts are higher than mine. He is the Creator of uncountable number of galaxies and stars, each unique in their own ways. And me, mere dirt. Yeah, talk about comparison.

I'd like to hear the sweeter song. I think I’ll let God surprise me with the beauty of how he’ll make things work out.

So yeah, what’s the time?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1 To everything there is a season,
      A time for every purpose under heaven:
       2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
      A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
       3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
      A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
       4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
      A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
       5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
      A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
       6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
      A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
       7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
      A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
       8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
      A time of war,
And a time of peace.
